Veterans Disability

On February 14, 2007, I was admitted to practice law before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims.  I am accepting new clients immediately and I will be happy to meet any Veteran who has had their initial claim denied and desires to appeal to the Board of Veterans' Appeals or the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

There are two disability programs available to Veterans through the Veterans Administration.  If the Veteran has a discharge that was other then non-dishonorable, had a disability that has been diagnosed as service connected, he or she is eligible for a service-connected disability.  If the Veteran was on active duty during a period of war, is totally and permanently disabled, and is in dire need for benefits that person is eligible for non-service connected disability.

A disabled Veteran can start the claim process at a VA center or online at www.vba.va.gov.  My office will assist you at this initial stage if you desire.  If rejected after applying on your own contact this office immediately for an appointment.  There is no charge to a Veteran for an initial office consultation at either my Canandaigua or Greece office.

When I prepare for the Board of Veterans' Appeal my firm will use its expertise in obtaining from you medical care givers the information that the Department of Veterans' Affairs needs, giving it to the Administration in a form they understand, and preparing you for the hearing.  I will prepare a brief for each case. This is how I help the disabled get the benefits they need.

My staff and I look forward to helping you.  Call us now, or contact us via e-mail.  If you have already been denied by the Board, act quickly because you have only 120 days to appeal.
